DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock at the death freedom fighter Nurnabi, president of New York City unit Awami League. 

In a condolence message, the Prime Minister on Friday prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members. 

In the message, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina recalled his contribution in different democratic movement in home and abroad, Prime Minister’s press wing said.

FF commander Nurnabi who has been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Dhaka died at 6:30am on Friday.
