DHAKA: Jatiya Party chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad's health condition has deteriorated on Sunday (June 30)

His condition deteriorated suddenly since noon, Ershad deputy press secretary Khandaker Delwar Jalali told Banglanews.

He said Ershad has been given oxygen support from this afternoon as his physical condition deteriorated. 

In this regard, GM Quader, the acting chairman of the party, will brief the press at 6:00 pm. 

Earlier on June 26, HM Ershad has been admitted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka due to old-age complications.

He also went to a Singapore hospital after the national election, GM Quader, also the younger brother of Ershad, said on that day.
