DHAKA: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Monday (July 1) paid a call on Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad, who has been kept on oxygen support at Combined Military Hospital (CMH, Dhaka) due to illness. 

He reached the hospital around 10:30am. 

Obaidul Quader, also the minister for road, transport & bridges, was accompanied by Jatiya Party top leaders including Acting Chairman GM Quader and Secretary General Moshiur Rahman Ranga.

Khandaker Delwar Hossain Jalali, deputy press secretary to HM Ershad, confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

HM Ershad has been admitted to CMH due to old-age complications on June 27.

GM Quader told media on Sunday (June 30) that his brother's physical condition is unchanged. 

He said he is happy about the treatment Ershad is being given at CMH and ready to take him abroad if the doctors suggest.
