DHAKA: Convicted BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia received dental treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital Saturday (July 27).
The ailing BNP chief, who has been in BSMMU since April 1, was given the dental treatment for nearly half an hour Saturday (July 27) noon.
BSMMU Director Brig Gen AK Mahbubul Hoque disclosed the matter at a press briefing.
She was feeling uneasy as two of her upper teeth have irritation problems.
"She is improving, feeling comfortable. Now she is definitely in better condition than before," he said.
However, Khaleda Zia was sent to jail in Zia Orphanage Trust graft case on February 8 last year.
She was shifted to BSMMU from Old Dhaka Central Jail with various ailments on April 1 this year.
