DHAKA: BNP will participate in the by-election to Rangpur-3 constituency that fell vacant following the death of Jatiya Party chairman Hussein Muhammad Ershad.
Leaders who are interested in taking part in the election from the BNP will have to collect party nomination form on Thursday (September 5).
BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said this at a press conference at Nayapalton's office on Tuesday (September 3).
He said that by-elections to the Rangpur-1 seat will be held on October 5. The nomination aspirants of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party-BNP are being informed that nomination forms can be collected from the BNP central office in Nayapaltan on September 5.
The nomination forms should be submitted to the same office on Friday (September 6).
The interview of the nomination seekers will be held at the Chairperson's Gulshan office at 5 pm on September 7 (Saturday). The final nomination will be given later.
