DHAKA: Bangladesh Chhatra League's (BCL) newly appointed Acting President Al Nahian Khan Joy said if anyone of his fellow activists is alleged of irregularities, must face organizational action.   

He voiced the warning after paying tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing floral wreath at his portrait in Dhanmondi-32 here Monday (September 16).

Newly appointed BCL General Secretary Lekhak Bhattacharya accompanied Al Nahian. 

"We are launching activities through placing flowers at the portrait of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu. From now on, we will try our level best and with cooperation from all to organize council of the expired committees," said the BCL acting president. 

"Organizational action will be taken if complaint of irregularities is raised against anyone of BCL's current committee," he warned.  

He mentioned that cooperation will be taken from even the law enforcement agencies if any issue of intruders is found in Chhatra League.

In replying a query of journalists on BCL's axed general secretary Golam Rabbani, the new acting president said only Dhaka University (DU) will fix whether he (Golam Rabbani) will continue as Ducsu General Secretary (GS) as Ducsu and BCL are totally separate matter. 

Leaders and activists of BCL central and Dhaka metropolitan units were present.
