DHAKA: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader warned that no one will be forgiven for making any derogatory remarks on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

“The nation will not forgive those who make derogatory remarks over Bangabandhu and his daughter Sheikh Hasina,” he told a conference of Dhaka North City Unit of Awami Swechasebak League at Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) auditorium in the capital on Tuesday (November 12).

He said conspirators are still out to hatch intrigues against Sheikh Hasina, which would not be tolerated as such remarks destroy political atmosphere in the country.

Chaired by president of Dhaka North City Unit of Swechasebak League Md Mubassher Chowdhury, the conference was addressed, among others, by AL organising secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim, Swechasebak League vice-president Matiur Rahman Moti and convener of the conference preparatory committee Nirmal Ranjan Guha.
