DHAKA: Moshiur Rahman Ranga, Secretary General of Jatiya Party (JP) and also the opposition Chief Whip, offered unconditional apology in the parliament for his derogatory remarks on Shaheed Noor Hossain.
He begged apology in his speech on Wednesday (Nov 13) evening.
He said: “I did not make comment to humiliate anyone. I didn't make any disgraceful remark on Noor Hossain. Still, if I make any mistake, please forgive me unconditionally. I am taking all the blame on my shoulder. I beg your pardon.”
Earlier on Sunday (Nov 10), Ranga claimed that Shaheed Noor Hossain was a ‘yaba’ and ‘Phensedyl’ addict at a discussion in JP’s North branch of metropolitan. Afterwards, an outcry circulated over social networking site.
In protest of such comment, Morium Bibi earlier on Monday (Nov 11) demanded that JP leader has to beg apology for his derogatory remarks about her son Shaheed Noor Hossain.
