DHAKA: Former chief whip Md Abdus Shahid has tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday (June 16).

Awami League MP Shahid of Moulvibazar-4 constituency has been admitted to Sheikh Russel Gastro Liver Institute and Hospital in Dhaka

MP’s personal secretary Ahad Md Sayeed Haider confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

MP’s health condition is well and he does not have respiratory problems, Sayeed Haider said.
