DHAKA: The election commission (EC) provided registration to Bangladesh Nationalist Front (BNF) as a political party.

Election commission secretary Dr Mohammad Sadique handed over the registration certificate to BNF secretary general Abul Kalam Azad on Monday afternoon.

Earlier the election commission had decided to give registration to BNF as it fulfilled all conditions.

After taking registration certificate, Abul Kalam Azad told journalists that he would fight against Sheikh Hasina, Khaleda Zia and Ershad in upcoming elections.
