Adam Tamiji Haque, one of the members of Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League, has been elected as the president of the ad-hoc committee of the Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation.

The announcement was made in a notification signed by Parimal Singh, secretary of the National Sports Council on Wednesday (June 21).

Other elected Committee members are - Dr. Zayadur Rahman Wadud, Jabbar Hossain as Vice President, Sheikh Hamim Hasan as General Secretary, Abul Hossain, Fazle Elahi, and Mahmud Hossain Khan Dulal as members.

According to the notification, the ad-hoc committee will complete the election of the executive committee of the Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation within the next 90 days and will complete the full-time functions during that period.

Due to the expiration of the existing executive committee of the Federation, an ad-hoc executive committee has been formed under the powers given in Section 21 of the National Sports Council Act 2018.

This notification issued in public interest with the approval of the appropriate authority will come into effect immediately.
