Sirajganj district unit of Bashundhara Shuvosangho has provided free treatment for destitute people at a medical camp in Kazipur upazila. Over 200 people received treatment at Maizbari High School in the upazila recently.

Kazipur Upazila Chairman Khalilur Rahman Siraji was the chief guest. After inaugurating the medical camp, he recalled the initiative of Bashundhara Shuvosangho in the flood-affected areas.

“Common people of the remote areas are benefiting through social activities of Bashundhara Group,” he said. Maizbari Union’s former Chairman Talukdar Jahangir Alam, Community Medical Officer Jannatul Ferdous Meem, Bashundhara Shuvosangho local unit General Secretary Dewan Shahiduzzaman, Joint General Secretary Sumna Haque, Organising Secretary Tofail Ahmed, Health Affairs Secretary Dr Rakib Hasan, Kazipur unit General Secretary Ashkar Pain, and Organising Secretary Asha Sarkar were present on the occasion.
