The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds in different parts of the country over the next 24 hours, starting from 9:00 am today.

According to the bulletin, rain or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, and at one or two places in Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions, with moderately heavy falls likely in some areas.

Day and night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country.

On Friday, the highest temperature was recorded at 37.0 degrees Celsius in Ramgati, while the lowest was 24.2 degrees Celsius in Bandarban. In Dhaka, sunset will be at 6:12 pm today and sunrise at 5:42 am tomorrow.
