The members of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP will ensure overall security of Dhaka Airport and all police stations across the country amid the evolving situation following Sheikh Hasina’s step down from her ministerial post.

In a press release issued this afternoon, the Ansar headquarters stated that the Bangladesh Ansar and VDP have been assigned the responsibility of ensuring the security of all police stations and Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

Additionally, the paramilitary auxiliary forces have been tasked with controlling traffic movement in and around the capital, Dhaka, according to the statement.
