Protesters gather on SC premises, demand resignation of CJ

Protesting students gathered at the High Court's premises, demanding the resignation of the judges of the Appellate Division, including Chief Justice Obaidul Hasan.

Students from various educational institutions started coming to the High Court with a procession from 11:00am.

Earlier on Thursday, pro-BNP lawyers issued a 24-hour ultimatum for the resignation of all justices of the Appellate Division, including the chief justice of Bangladesh.
