The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted that the weather is likely to remain dry for the next 24 hours, starting from 9:00 AM today (December 4).
According to the BMD's weather report, "the weather may remain dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country."
The ridge of sub-continental high pressure extends up to Bihar and adjoining areas, while a seasonal low lies over the South Bay, extending its trough up to Northeast Bay.
The BMD also warned that light to moderate fog may occur in various parts of the country during late night till early morning hours.
On Tuesday, the maximum temperature recorded was 32.4°C at Teknaf, while the minimum temperature today stood at 11.4°C at Tetulia. The department further indicated that both night and day temperatures may drop slightly over the country.
The sun is expected to set today at 5:11 PM, and will rise tomorrow at 6:26 AM.
