DHAKA: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said party will not bear liability of few people. 

Obaidul Quader said: “Action will be taken against those who brought BNP and Freedom Party people into this big party and assisted in infiltration.”

Quader, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, came up with this announcement at a discussion at the city’s Krishibid Institution on Saturday (September 28).

The discussion was organized celebrating party President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s 73rd birthday.  

Obaidul Quader said: "The fight against corruption has begun. We have to win in this fight. Sheikh Hasina's action has begun against those who are involved in tendering, extortion, terrorism and drug dealing. Not only in the capital, it has begun outside Dhaka too. Awami League will not take responsibility of the misdeeds of some people.”

Presidium Member and Deputy Leader of the House Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury presided over the discussion.  Top leaders of the party were present.
