DHAKA: Relatives of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia went to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) to meet her on Friday (Oct 11).
Six family members went to meet Khaleda Zia, now undergoing treatment at BSMMU, who is serving her jail sentence in a graft case since 8 February 2018, BNP chairperson’s media wing officer Shairul Kabir Khan told Banglanews.
The six relatives, including Khaleda Zia’s sister Selima Rahman, younger brother Shamim Iskander, his wife Kaniz Iskander and their son Avik Iskander, entered the cabin black of BSMMU around 3pm to meet Khaleda Zia.
Earlier on September 20, family members met her at the hospital.
The BNP chairperson was taken to BSMMU from Dhaka Old central jail after falling ill on April 1.
