Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab), in separate drives, arrested 304 people from different parts of the country, including Dhaka, in connection with the recent violence over quota reform protests.

Senior Assistant Director ASP ANM Imran Khan of RAB's Law and Media Wing said the drives continued until early Sunday.

He said that 14 people were arrested in the last 24 hours. Six were arrested in Dhaka and 8 outside Dhaka. 

A total of 304 people have been arrested across the country on charges of sabotage, violence, and arson, he said, adding 77 were arrested in Dhaka and 227 outside Dhaka.
