DB Chief Harun-or-Rashid today (July 28) urged family members of the detained quota movement coordinators not to worry as they are taken into custody for safety purposes.

He said the five coordinators of the quota movement have been brought into DB custody for security reasons.

Harun said this in a press conference organized at his office this afternoon.

“We have taken the coordinators into custody for their safety. We assure their families that there is no reason to worry. We are ensuring their security and their families should remain reassured,” DB boss said. 

Three coordinators were brought to the DB office on Friday, followed by two more on Saturday evening.
