Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in separate drives, arrested 334 people from different parts of the country, including Dhaka, in connection with the recent violence over quota reform protests.
Senior Assistant Director ASP ANM Imran Khan of RAB's Law and Media Wing confirmed the matter on Monday morning.
He said 14 people were arrested in the last 24 hours across the country. Among them, six are in Dhaka, and 24 are outside Dhaka.
He said that so far, a total of 334 people were arrested across the country on charges of vandalism, violence, and arson. Among them, 83 people were arrested in Dhaka and 251 outside Dhaka.
