HABIGANJ: Two people were killed and four others injured in head-on-collision between two CNG-run auto-rickshaws in east Joypur area under Bahubal Upazila of the district on Wednesday midnight.

The deceased were identified as Zitu Mia, 35, and Akbar Ali, 70.

Locals said that a CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided head-on with another around 11:15pm in the area, leaving an auto rickshaw driver dead on the spot and five others injured.

Later, locals rushed the injured to Habiganj Sadar Modern Hospital where a passenger succumbed to his injuries.

Bahubal Model Thana Officer-in-Charge Ohidur Rahman PPM confirmed the matter to banglanews.
