DHAKA: Pickets set fire to a passenger bus at Mirpur section-1 in Dhaka on Wednesday noon.

The arson attack took place around 1:15pm in Diabari area.

Fire service duty officer Farhaduzzaman told banglanews that the bus of Classic Paribahan was set ablaze by allegedly hartal supporters.

On information, two fire fighting units rushed to the spot and doused the flame.

In the meantime, the bus was totally damaged by the fire, he added.
