BOGRA: At least 55 allegedly anarchists, including 24 Jamaat-Shibir men, were held in Bogra in the last 24-hour.

Assistant Superintendent of Police of the district (Sadar) Gaziur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews on Thursday evening.

Gaziur Rahman said that 55 perpetrators were detained in a special drive in the area starting from Wednesday evening to Thursday evening.

The accused were charged in several cases, including vandalism and sabotage, he added.
