KISHOREGANJ: Miscreants torched a parked bus in front of sub-registry office under Hossainpur upazila of the district Thursday night.

Officer-in-charge (OC) M Nannu Miah of Hossainpur Thana confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said a bus of Borna Paribahan was set ablaze by suspected blockaders in the area around 9:45pm and locals doused the fire after some time.

None was detained in this connection as miscreants fled the spot immediately after setting fire to the bus, the OC added.
