Hartal now till 6am Friday

DHAKA: BNP-led 20-party alliance has extended its ongoing 72-hour hartal by 48 more hours till 6am Friday.

A statement of BNP joint secretary general Salahuddin Ahmed made the extension announcement on Tuesday afternoon.

Earlier, 20-party alliance on Friday called a fresh 72-hour nationwide hartal from 6am on Sunday.
