SATKHIRA: Police, in separate drives, arrested 82 people including 19 Jamaat-e-Islami and BNP men in several areas of the district on suspicion of creating sabotage.

Sub-Inspector (SI) Kamal Hossain, also Information Officer of Satkhira police confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said the law enforcers arrested the people including BNP-Jamaat leaders and activists conducting drives from Monday night to Tuesday noon.

The arrestees are accused in several cases including of creating sabotage, the SI added.
