DHAKA: Law enforcers including Detective Branch of police and RAB personnel on Thursday night detained BNP joint secretary general Salahuddin Ahmed from Uttara in city.

A press release signed by BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan, was issued from Gulshan political office 22 hours after his detention.

The release also said his family members and political co-workers have become worried as law enforcing agencies so far denied detaining Salahuddin.
