DHAKA: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir called an urgent press conference on Monday evening (May 14).

BNP Chairperson’s media wing member Shayrul Kabir Khan informed Banglanews that the press conference will start around 8:00pm at party chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan political office. 
 
Earlier in the afternoon, five family members of Khaleda Zia met with her in Dhaka central jail. Fakhrul Islam Alamgir might discuss about the health of Khaleda Zia. Moreover, the Khulna City Corporation (KCC) election might also come up in the press briefing.
