The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Sunday forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds in various parts of the country over the next 24 hours, starting from 9:00 am.
According to a BMD bulletin, light to moderate rain or thundershowers with gusty winds are likely at a few places in Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions, and at one or two places in Rajshahi, Khulna, and Barishal divisions. Moderately heavy rainfall may occur at some locations across the country.
The met office predicted a slight drop in day and night temperatures over Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Sylhet, and Chattogram, while temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged elsewhere.
On Saturday, the highest temperature was recorded at 36.2°C in Cumilla, and the lowest at 22.8°C in Bandarban.
In Dhaka, the sun will set at 6:11 pm today and rise at 5:42 am tomorrow.
