DHAKA: Security measures have been beefed up once again around BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia's office Monday ahead of the besiege program called by Sromik-Kormochari-Peshajibi-Muktijoddha Somonnoy Porishod (SKPMSP).

Mohila Awami League, Sromik League, leaders-activists of several workers and professionals’ organizations took position in front of Wonderland Park in city’s Gulshan area around 10:45am to besiege Khaleda Zia’s office demanding withdrawal of the hartal-blockade.

Shipping minister Shahjahan Khan is leading the march toward Road 86 of Gulshan, where Khaleda's office is located.

Gulshan Thana officer-in-charge Firoz Kabir told banglanews additional police members have been deployed there to avert any untoward incident.
