RAJSHAHI: Rajshahi city unit Chhatra Shibir claimed that law enforcers detained three of its leaders including city president from Paba College intersection area on Monday night.

The detainees are city unit Chhatra Shibir president Dr Anwarul Islam, secretary Nafis Raiyan and social welfare secretary Sayeed Amin Mulhim.

A news release, signed by city unit publicity secretary Asaduzzaman, was issued in this regard.

It said the Chhatra Shibir leaders were detained from Paba College area and they were in custody of Shah Makhdum Thana police.

Officer-in-Charge of the Thana Mizanur Rahman, however, rejected the detention, saying they would inform if anyone was detained.
