DHAKA: BNP-led 20-party alliance has extended the ongoing 72-hour hartal till 6:00am Friday (February 27) protesting “false” cases against the party leaders, including BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia.

BNP joint secretary general Salahuddin Ahmed made the disclosure through a press release Tuesday noon.

The release said the hartal has been extended till Friday morning protesting the mass killing by joint forces, indiscriminate murder, kidnaps, attacks and mass arrest of 20-party alliance leaders.
